The town comes alive after 9pm when the heat drops and everyone migrates outside.

Is it worth it? For beach lovers, swimmers, and people who want evening culture with easy access to the rest of the Bay of Kotor, absolutely yes. For those who hate heat and hate feeling like they’re sharing a beautiful place with other people who also found out about it, consider May or September instead.

**Practical tip:** Stay somewhere with air conditioning you can actually verify works before booking. Not all accommodation listings in Herceg Novi are accurate about this, and sleeping in 28°C humidity without it will ruin your holiday faster than anything else.
