The Marubi Photography Museum alone justifies a stop. If you’re mainly chasing swimming and nightlife, the lake won’t scratch that itch as well as the coast will.

**One Practical Tip**

Do Rozafa Castle before 9am. Not slightly early – actually before 9am. The exposed hilltop with zero shade in July afternoon heat turns what should be a memorable experience into an endurance test. The early light on the lake and mountains is also genuinely beautiful, so it’s a straightforward win.
