Look, nobody’s selling you a February Ibiza holiday as the dream. And honestly, that’s exactly why it might work for you.

The island sits at around 14-15°C most of the time, which feels genuinely mild if you’re arriving from a grey British or northern European winter, but don’t pack your bikini with any serious optimism. You’ll want layers. There’s nearly 31mm of rain spread across the month, so you’ll almost certainly get at least one properly soggy day. It’s not relentless, but it’s real.

What’s Ibiza actually like in February? Quiet. Genuinely, almost eerily quiet. San Antonio feels like a film set between shoots. The mega-clubs are completely shut – Pacha, Amnesia, Ushuaïa, all dark until late spring at the earliest. If you’re coming for the club scene, you’ve got the date badly wrong and there’s no polite way to say that.

But here’s the thing. The old town, Dalt Vila, is genuinely lovely when you’re not shuffling through it in a crowd. The beaches are deserted and wild-looking in a way that’s almost dramatic.

February Ibiza suits walkers, people who want to genuinely decompress, photographers, and anyone who loves somewhere when it’s being itself rather than performing. Couples doing a long weekend will probably enjoy it more than they expect. Solo travellers who like their own company will be fine.

It’s absolutely not for: families expecting beach holiday sunshine, anyone wanting nightlife, or people who need constant entertainment options.

**One practical tip:** Don’t assume the restaurant you found online is open. Call ahead or check recently updated social media before you travel across the island for dinner. Off-season hours are unpredictable and there’s nothing sadder than a locked door at 8pm when you’re hungry.

Worth it? For the right person, genuinely yes.
