The average temperature sits around 15°C, which is genuinely pleasant if you’re escaping a grey northern European winter, but cool enough that you’ll want a jacket for evenings and won’t be swimming unless you’re built differently from most people.

If sun-lounger beach holidays are the whole point, wait until May at the earliest.
