October is genuinely one of the better times to visit Palma, and I’ll tell you why without trying to sell you anything.

The weather sits around 23°C, which feels excellent after summer’s punishing heat. You can actually walk around the old town without feeling like you’re being slow-roasted. The sea is still warm enough for swimming well into the month, carrying all that stored summer heat, so beach days remain completely viable. **One practical tip:** Rent a car for at least one day and drive to the Tramuntana mountains. The interior of the island is extraordinary, the roads are significantly less chaotic than summer, and the light in October has a quality that’s genuinely hard to describe without sounding insufferable.
