Here’s the thing about November in Sharm – it’s actually one of the better times to go, and not enough people know that.

The summer heat, which genuinely makes spending more than twenty minutes outside feel like standing next to an open oven, has finally backed off by November. Temperatures sit somewhere in the mid-to-high twenties most days, occasionally dipping into the low thirties early in the month. Evenings get genuinely pleasant – light jacket territory rather than the oppressive warmth of August nights. Rainfall is basically a non-event. Sharm sits in one of the driest corners of the world, and November delivers almost nothing. You’re not packing an umbrella.

The crowds are in that sweet spot between the summer peak madness and the December holiday rush. European tourists are still around, particularly divers and snorkelers chasing warm water, but the beaches aren’t rammed. You can actually get a sunbed without staging a 6am towel ambush. The Naama Bay strip is fully operational, restaurants are open, boat trips are running, and the dive centres are busy but not overbooked. Everything you’d want access to, you’ve got.

Speaking of diving – this is genuinely a brilliant month for it. Visibility is excellent, water temperatures are still comfortable around 25 degrees, and some migratory species are passing through. If underwater stuff is your reason for visiting, November is legitimately one of the top three months to come.

Is it worth it? For couples, divers, snorkelers, and anyone who wants a relaxed beach week without the full holiday chaos – absolutely yes. Families with young kids and older travellers especially benefit from the cooler temperatures. If you need a buzzing party atmosphere every night, January or February in a European ski resort might scratch that itch better, but Sharm in November doesn’t feel like a ghost town either.

**Practical tip:** Book your diving or snorkelling excursions directly with operators when you arrive rather than through your hotel. You’ll pay noticeably less for the exact same trip.
