For people wanting quiet exploration, romantic atmosphere, or budget-friendly relaxation, honestly no. Come in May or September instead and you’ll get the same beauty with a fraction of the hassle.

**One practical tip:** Stay on or near Long Beach rather than in town itself. You get easier beach access, slightly less congestion, and you can always taxi into the old town for dinner. Staying in the old town sounds romantic until 11pm when the music starts and doesn’t stop.
