Visiting Agadir in November

# Agadir in November: What It’s Actually Like

Here’s the thing about Agadir in November — it’s genuinely pleasant, and most people visiting from northern Europe are quietly surprised by that.

Temperatures sit comfortably in the low-to-mid 20s Celsius during the day, occasionally nudging higher. Evenings cool down noticeably though, so that light jacket you debated packing is actually worth bringing. The Atlantic keeps things from getting stuffy. Rainfall is possible — November sits on the cusp of Morocco’s limited wet season — but you’re typically looking at occasional showers rather than anything that wrecks a day. It’s not guaranteed sunshine, but it’s far from gloomy.

The crowds have thinned considerably from the summer peak, and that makes a real difference to how Agadir feels. The beach is long enough that it never truly feels rammed, but in November you have genuine space. Sunbeds aren’t a competitive sport. Restaurant staff have time to actually talk to you.

Most things are open. Agadir is a resort city built largely around tourism infrastructure, so it doesn’t do the whole “closed for winter” thing that you’d experience in, say, a smaller Mediterranean town. The souk, the seafront promenade, boat trips, quad biking in the dunes — all operating. Water temperatures are still reasonable for a swim if you’re not particularly precious about it, though some people find it on the cool side.

Who is it actually worth it for? Older travellers, people after a quiet beach reset, families who want warm weather without peak-season prices and noise, golfers (the courses are good and not baking hot), and anyone who specifically doesn’t want Ibiza energy. If you’re 25 and want a buzzing nightlife scene with a packed beach, November Agadir probably isn’t your thing.

**Practical tip:** Don’t book a seafront restaurant on the promenade for every meal — prices are inflated and the food is often mediocre. Walk two or three streets back and you’ll find better fish, cooked properly, for noticeably less money.

It’s a genuinely underrated month to go.
