# Bodrum in May: The Sweet Spot Before the Madness

If you’re going to visit Bodrum, May might honestly be the best time to do it, though I’ll admit that depends entirely on what you’re after.

You can walk around the castle, wander the marina, explore the market streets without sweating through your clothes by 10am. There’s still a light breeze coming off the Aegean most days, and evenings are warm enough for outdoor dining without needing a jacket.
