For couples who want quiet, photographers, people who’ve done the summer version and want a different angle, or anyone combining it with Ephesus or İzmir as a wider trip – absolutely yes. For families wanting beach holidays or anyone whose mood lives or dies by sunshine guarantees – probably wait until May.

**Practical tip:** Book accommodation with a bathtub or good shower rather than a pool-facing room. You’ll want warming up after those windy walks, not a reminder of what you can’t use yet.
