Anyone wanting cheap accommodation from whatever is actually open will appreciate the prices. It is genuinely not for people who want food variety, nightlife, or beach swimming.

Is it worth it? Conditionally yes. Thassos in February has a quiet, stripped-back beauty that summer visitors never see. The green mountains look extraordinary after rain. The marble beaches look surreal without anyone on them.
