The crowd situation is actually one of the better reasons to come now. Vlore in summer is a different beast entirely — packed beaches, noise, inflated prices, every Albanian family from Tirana seemingly squeezed onto the same stretch of coast. Worth it? Honestly, yes — but for a specific kind of traveler. If you like having a place feel authentic, you’re pairing it with inland Albania or other Riviera towns, and you’re not fixated on beach activity, April works well and your budget will thank you.
